Davey and Davey Cabinetry Inc is looking to add a Cabinetry Finisher/Refinisher to our growing team. This would be a direct hire position. Willing to train the right candidate.

We are a family-owned company located in West Lorne and service Chatham-Kent, St. Thomas-Elgin, and London-Middlesex Areas. Our projects are mainly residential, both new builds and existing homes.

• Painting new cabinetry & trim items in shop
• Refinishing cabinet doors in shop
• Refinishing cabinet boxes and trim in client homes
• Assisting with custom cabinetry projects
• Cleaning equipment and shop
• May be asked to assist with other tasks

Schedule:
• Full Time Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Wages to be discussed, based on experience:
• $18.00-$30.00 per hour

• Carpentry/Cabinetry: 1 year (preferred), would be an asset
• Finishing/Refinishing: 1 year (preferred), would be an asset
• Experience with spray equipment is preferable (Fuji HVLP is used)
• Punctual, positive attitude and willingness to work
• Professionalism interacting with clientele
• Good knowledge of shop, hand, and power tools
• Ability to understand floor plans, drawings and specifications
• Strong organization and communication skills
• High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
• High attention to detail and pride in one’s work
• Preferable to have a full G license and own vehicle
• Ability to handle stress and deadlines
• Steel-toed shoes are required
• Extra hours to complete projects as needed
