Under the direction of the DOC and in accordance with the regulations of the Health Disciplines act, the Unregistered Care Provider:

1.  Administers drugs and treatments according to procedure, and care packages.
   2. Recognizes safety hazards and takes appropriate action. Adheres to established residence policies and procedures including safety rules and safe working practices.
   3. Supports and actively participates in unit orientation and in-service programs.
   4. Participation in learning needs assessment.
   5. Assists the DOC to evaluate the performance of the Attendants supervised by him/her and assists with appropriate documentation. Keeps the DOC informed of any staff member

• Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Experience in a Retirement setting preferred
• CPR certification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Excellent documentation skills
• Demonstrated team leadership skills
• Demonstrated knowledge and skill working with various types of dementia, delirium, mental health, and other neurological conditions.
• Ability to work in team
