Lead Inspector
Description
Leads and performs a full range of varied sorting, inspection- or production-related tasks as well as administrative duties or any other task in furtherance of the work or goals of our customers. Sorting and inspection work can include visual inspection, touch point inspection, or use of measuring equipment to determine conformity of a part. Rework projects eliminate known defects with a part, includes work such as deburring or replacing a component part.
• Hands on supervision of assignment inspectors
• Have an understand of setting up work cells and practice 5S
• Understand ergonomics as it related to work setup and flow
• Prepare work instructions
• Hands on training for assigned inspectors-orientation, training, competency, and performance reviews
• Participate in sorts and rework etc.as required as per work instructions
• Follow all health and safety rules and policies
• Ensure you’re providing feedback for continuous improvement
Qualifications
• Must have Grade 12 diploma/equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with reliable vehicle and vehicle insurance as traveling is required daily
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Must be flexible to meet customers’ demands
Available Shifts:
• Days: 6:45am-3pm.
• Afternoons: 2:45pm – 11pm
