Wilson Towing serves areas from Shedden to Strathroy to Chatham.  We have multiple flatbeds, wheel lifts, and a trailer for smaller motor vehicles.

Job type: must be willing to work week days and weekends, be on-call for long periods of time.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and rive flatbed, wheel lifts, or pick-up truck with trailer to transport goods and materials.
• Ensure safe delivery of vehicles by retrieving and delivering to and from customers
• Moving vehicles in a lot, safely loading vehicles on truck bed/wheel lift
• Complete legible paperwork on time. This includes but is not limited to day sheets, inspection logs, invoices etc.
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch promptly and clearly
• Handle cash and process credit cards over the phone
• Drive truck for short or long distances (possibly up to, or over 6 hours trips at a time), and at any time day or night
• Understand and be able to use a tablet to take-in, update call status, and complete tow calls
• Maintain a clean truck at all times
• Drive manual transmission and automatic transmission vehicles
• Salary to be discussed, based on experience

Own Equipment Required:

• Steel toe safety boots – green patch certified

• Valid G class driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
• Excellent communication, work ethic, and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to work independently
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions
• Detail oriented with excellent customer service skills
• Weight handling – up to 50 lbs
• Ability to follow directions and perform assigned tasks safely and efficiently
