Summary:

Working in multiple locations the building installer must be able to operate various pieces of equipment and be able to complete all tasks assigned.  It is a requirement to have your own vehicle/reliable transportation to get to jobsite locations.

Job Type – Full time, permanent

Wage – From $22/hour depending on experience

Experience – 1-year general labour preferred

License/Certification – Valid Class G Driver’s License

Willingness to Travel – 100%

Responsibilities –

• Follow safety procedures and wear all PPE required for the job
• Have attention to detail and accuracy with ability to multitask
• Responsible to keep work sites, trucks, and trailers orderly and safe
• Follow the guidelines outlined in the Occupational Health and Safety Act

Position Qualifications –

• Must have a valid Driver’s License and clean river’s abstract
• Able to work in various locations year-round in all weather conditions
• Have up-to-date WHMIS, Aerial Life, Working at Heights and First Aid/CPR Certification or have the ability to obtain through employment
• Able to accurately read a tape measure
• Able to operate equipment such as drills, impacts and other hand/power tools
• Able to operate various pieces of lift equipment
• Physical strength is required for manual material handling
• Comfortable working at heights
• Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal
• General labour experience in a construction environment is an asset
