We are seeking an experienced factory production worker to fill a general laborer position in our growing company in Aylmer, Ontario.

Job Description:

• Assist laser team, press team and robot welder operators with material handling.
• Assist production welders with set up and handling large parts.
• Build pallets of selected stock while observing standards for height, weight, stability (breaking point), and security of product.
• Perform assigned tasks to maintain a clean and safe working environment, i.e., sweeping, cleaning up cardboard, etc.
• Operate moving equipment safely and ensure equipment is in proper working order before each shift.
• Perform other duties as required.
• Overtime hours are occasional and available on request.
• Day shift.

Compensation:

• Wages are dependent on qualifications, skills and experience.

• Physically fit and have good endurance.
• Tolerant to repetitive bending and lifting; some parts are up to 50 lb.
• Able to work in a cold and loud environment.
• Language: English is required. (Spanish and German are assets.)
• Forklift experience and certification are an asset but not essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be well organized and able to pay attention to detail.
• Positive attitude, taking initiative and pride in your work.
• Commitment to quality and workplace safety.
