Maintenance Team Member
Description
We are looking for a self-motivated individual to join The Lakewood RV Resort Team to maintain our campground in Port Glasgow. Candidates should be comfortable working alone and within a team.
The position involves participation in all levels of grounds-keeping and maintenance in the park.
This contract position runs from approximately April to November each season at 40 hours per week, Tuesday through Saturday.
Responsibilities:
- Grounds-keeping
- Landscaping
- Grass cutting and trimming
- Installation of patio stones
- Garbage pick-up
- Waterfront cleaning and maintenance
- Plumbing maintenance
- Building maintenance
- Painting
- Equipment maintenance
- Chainsaw maintenance
- Firewood cutting
- Tree trimming
Wage: $20/hour
Hours: 40 hours/week
Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday
Qualifications
- Experience with riding lawn cutting equipment, including zeroturn mowers
- Experience handling and installing ABS plumbing materials
- Experience with hand and power tools Experience operating a wood splitter
- Experience operating a chainsaw
- Experience operating a tractor with a loader and blade
- Good written and verbal skills
- Able to lift, stand, and work for long periods of time in various weather conditions
- Enjoys working outdoors
