Maintenance Team Member

Description

We are looking for a self-motivated individual to join The Lakewood RV Resort Team to maintain our campground in Port Glasgow. Candidates should be comfortable working alone and within a team.

The position involves participation in all levels of grounds-keeping and maintenance in the park.

This contract position runs from approximately April to November each season at 40 hours per week, Tuesday through Saturday.

Responsibilities:

  • Grounds-keeping
  • Landscaping
  • Grass cutting and trimming
  • Installation of patio stones
  • Garbage pick-up
  • Waterfront cleaning and maintenance
  • Plumbing maintenance
  • Building maintenance
  • Painting
  • Equipment maintenance
  • Chainsaw maintenance
  • Firewood cutting
  • Tree trimming

Wage: $20/hour

Hours: 40 hours/week

Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday

Qualifications

  • Experience with riding lawn cutting equipment, including zeroturn mowers
  • Experience handling and installing ABS plumbing materials
  • Experience with hand and power tools Experience operating a wood splitter
  • Experience operating a chainsaw
  • Experience operating a tractor with a loader and blade
  • Good written and verbal skills
  • Able to lift, stand, and work for long periods of time in various weather conditions
  • Enjoys working outdoors
