Junior Mechanical Engineer
Description
- Collaborate with senior engineers to design and develop mechanical systems using CAD software such as Autodesk Inventor.
- Create detailed schematics and technical drawings to support project specifications.
- Assist in the fabrication of prototypes and components, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Utilize CNC machinery for precision manufacturing tasks.
- Conduct testing and analysis of mechanical systems to evaluate performance and reliability.
- Document project progress, findings, and recommendations for improvements.
- Support the integration of logic controllers into mechanical designs.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss project updates and contribute ideas for optimization.
- Wage: between $19.52 – $40.02/hour based on experience.
- Hours: Part-time to Full-time.
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software (Solid works, Inventor) for drafting and design purposes.
- Understanding of CNC machining processes and fabrication techniques.
- Experience with logic controllers is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate with team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required and experience necessary.
