PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Machining of various parts as per drawings
• Repair/modify machined parts for assemblies

DAILY TASKS:

Shop:

• Machine parts using various company equipment
• Use knee mills, NC mills, surface grinder, bandsaws, grinders, lathe
• Must be able to read and understand detailed machining drawings and blueprints
• Must be able to set up and machine work for accurate and square parts
• Work effectively with Millwrights, Fabricators, designers and electrical to solve problems, taking time and budget restrictions into account
• Possibly assist with assembly and setup of machinery from drawings
• Must be able to work with in 0.001” tolerances

• Ontario Government Trade Certificate or equivalent work experience
• Fork Truck Experience is a plus.
• 2-5 years of machine building experience
• First aid a plus
• Must be a team player

Must have:

• Light hand tools for machining.
• Measuring tools
• Layout tools
• In good standing Driver’s License
