We are looking for a talented 3D Print Designer to work on key elements of marine structures, combining engineering precision and the capabilities of additive manufacturing.

Job Description:

3D Model Creation: Developing digital 3D models for printing key elements and assemblies of vessels (prototypes, interior details, functional components).
Print Optimization: Adapting and optimizing existing engineering drawings and CAD models for 3D printing technology.
Material Selection: Choosing and testing 3D printing materials (composites, metals, high-strength plastics) with regard to marine environment requirements (salt resistance, durability).
Tool Proficiency: Using specialized software for modeling (e.g., Blender, Fusion 360, SolidWorks) and slicers for preparing print files.
AI Integration (A Plus): Utilizing AI tools to accelerate and enhance the precision of design generation (similar to the use in AI Vibe coding), as well as for geometry optimization under load.
Testing and Quality Control: Conducting print runs, evaluating the quality and strength characteristics of the finished models, and adjusting parameters.

Qualifications

Experience in 3D modeling and 3D printing.
In-depth knowledge of additive technologies (FDM, SLA, SLS, or similar).
Experience with CAD systems and 3D modeling software.
Understanding of engineering principles and stress analysis (preferably in mechanical engineering or shipbuilding).
Ability to rapidly adapt designs to real-world production tasks and requirements.
Experience with AI tools (e.g., generative AI in design, like Midjourney or Stable Diffusion) will be a significant advantage.
Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
