Hours: 40-60 hours/week
Term: Full-time
Wage: $18-$22/hour

Job Summary:

A Landscape Worker is responsible for maintaining and improving outdoor spaces such as residential yards, commercial properties, parks, and gardens. This role involves physical labor, attention to detail, and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform lawn care duties including mowing, trimming, edging, and fertilizing
• Plant, water, prune, and maintain trees, shrubs, flowers, and grass
• Operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and small machinery
• Install landscaping features such as sod, mulch, gravel, and garden beds
• Assist with hardscape projects like patios, walkways, and retaining walls
• Remove weeds, debris, and litter from outdoor areas
• Perform seasonal tasks such as leaf removal, snow clearing, and property clean-up
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain equipment properly

Work Environment:

• Primarily outdoors in various weather conditions
• May involve early mornings, weekends, or seasonal work

Qualification:

• Previous landscaping or outdoor labor experience is an asset
• Ability to perform physically demanding work (lifting, bending, standing for long periods)
• Basic knowledge of plants, tools, and landscaping techniques

• Valid driver’s license may be required

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working in hot, cold, and wet conditions
