Job Description:

Lakeview Farms is seeking a dependable and experienced Swine Farm Supervisor to oversee the daily operation of our farrow-to-finish swine facility. The successful candidate will supervise employees while ensuring high standards of animal care, production, biosecurity, and workplace safety.

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of swine barn employees.
• Schedule and assign daily work duties.
• Monitor breeding, farrowing, nursery, and finishing operations.
• Ensure proper feeding, watering, and overall care of livestock.
• Observe herd health and report concerns to management or the herd health team.
• Maintain production, inventory, and treatment records.
• Train and mentor new employees.
• Ensure biosecurity and animal welfare protocols are followed.
• Coordinate routine maintenance of barns and equipment.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies.
• Ensure workplace health and safety procedures are followed.
• Assist management in meeting production and quality targets.

• 1-2 years of commercial swine production experience.
• Previous supervisory experience an asset.

Working Conditions:

• Livestock barn environment.
• Standing, walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive tasks.
• Weekend, holiday, and evening work may be required.
• Exposure to livestock, dust, odors, humidity, and varying temperatures.
