Term; Seasonal, Full-time

Wage: $17.95/hour

Job Description:

• Work site environment: Outdoors, wet/damp, odours, hot
• Clear and collect brush and debris from fields and other work areas
• Manually remove all suckers and water sprouts
• Tie and secure plants
• Weeding
• Assist in pruning trees, shrubs and plants
• Plant bulbs and seeds, pot and re-pot plants, transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings
• Apply fertilizers, dig up wrapping rootballs of trees and shrubs, clean work area
• Fast-paced environment
• Repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, standing for extended periods
• Bending, crouching, kneeling, hand-eye co-ordination
• Able to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs)

• Willing to train the right candidate
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods of time
• Able to work in a variety of weather conditions
• Attention to detail
