Hours:  6-12 hours/week
Wage: $17.60/hour

Job Description:

• Acknowledges and greets all customers, maintaining a friendly attitude.
• Handles telephone inquiries quickly and courteously.
• Accurately records and handles cash transactions.
• Develops and utilizes selling techniques and closing companion sales.
• Assists customers with products outside the department and is knowledgeable about all in-store promotions.
• Pays attention to store security and follows store policy regarding shoplifters.
• Learns and utilizes proper merchandising techniques.
• Carries out housekeeping duties.
• Fills stock from the back room to ensure shelves are adequately stocked.
• Supports other departments within the store, including Delivery, HomeHealth, and Receiving.
• Keeps checkouts stocked, neat, and clean.
• Standing, walking for full shift as well as lift, push, pull, carry or otherwise move objects of varying weights regularly.
• Occasionally will be required to lift up to 50 lbs, unassisted, and bend, twist, and reach to move merchandise or other items.
• Performs other duties as required.

• Completion of High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Cashier or retail experience is preferred.
• Mature, well organized and cooperative attitude.
• Neat and well-groomed image.
• Ability to communicate clearly and courteously with customers and co-workers.
• Develop an understanding of Finestra POS system.
• Flexibility to work all shifts including days, evening, weekends and holidays according to the business need is required.
