Admin/Customer Service

Description

Busy transportation and logistics company is seeking a full-time Admin/Customer Service agent.

Job Description:

  • Monitoring existing loads while in transit and providing updates booking appointments if required and updating customers
  • Date entry
  • Problem solving skills, must have strong common sense
  • Fast paced environment
  • Communication skills a must both verbal and written
  • Previous transportation and logistics an asset but not required
  • Must be able to multi-task as high percentage of day is multi-tasking
  • Wage negotiable, based on experience
  • Full-time onsite position (remote not an option)

Qualifications

Required Experience:

  • Transportation Experience: 5 years plus (an asset)
  • Computer knowledge (word perfect, excel, outlook)
  • Accounting background welcome
  • Computer savvy a bonus

Candidate shall:

  • Have at least a high school diploma or equivalent experience in one of the following areas: Business, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service
  • Have strong Customer Service skills
  • Conduct themselves in a positive and polite manner while communicating with customers
  • Able to work efficiently and independently
