Are you a morning person with a passion for providing exceptional hospitality? Holiday Inn Express & Suites St. Thomas is seeking a dedicated and friendly individual to join our team as a Breakfast Attendant. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests start their day with a delightful breakfast experience. On-site parking.

Responsibilities:

Set Up and Maintain Breakfast Area: Prepare and set up the breakfast area according to IHG standards, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and a welcoming atmosphere.
Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of a variety of breakfast items, including hot and cold items, beverages, and condiments.
Customer Service: Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service, addressing any inquiries or special requests with a positive attitude.
Monitor and Replenish: Regularly monitor food and beverage levels, replenishing items as needed to ensure a consistent and high-quality breakfast experience for guests.
Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitary breakfast area, including cleaning and sanitizing tables, counters, equipment, and utensils.
Compliance with Health and Safety Standards: Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling, storage, and disposal practices.

Team Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with other hotel staff members to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Qualifications

Previous Experience: Prior experience in a customer service or food service role is preferred.
Ontario Food Handler certified
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure the breakfast area is impeccably maintained and well-presented.
May be required to work weekends, and/or holidays as we are in operation 24/7 – 365 days a year.
Customer-Focused: A friendly and approachable demeanor with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Flexibility: Willingness to work early morning shifts (6:15AM Start Time)
Health and Safety Awareness: Knowledge of and adherence to health and safety regulations and practices.
Initiative: Ability to take initiative and handle tasks independently when needed.
