Station House Cannabis, St. Thomas
Wage:  $18/hour
Employment type: Permanent, Full-time
Hours: 30 to 40 hours/week
Terms: Weekends as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing excellent customer service experience for customers by building relationships and appropriately determining needs
• Educate customers on cannabis brands, products, and responsible consumption practices
• Process customer transactions and orders
• Independently complete the store opening/closing procedure
• Manage point of sale (POS) system and cannabis complaint POS system
• Prevent cannabis sales to anyone under the age of 19 by reviewing government issued photo identification
• Adhere to all company training and operational standards and procedures (education, merchandising, cleanliness, security, checklists etc.)
• Ensure the cleanliness of the store at all times
• Adhere to all legislative requirements of cannabis retailers, including federal, provincial, and municipal legislation
• Complete tasks as assigned by the Retail Store Manager

• Must be 19 years of age or older to apply
• Valid AGCO CannSell Certification is considered an asset
• Minimum 1-2 years in a customer service-oriented role, experience in the cannabis industry an asset, however not required
• Clear passion for and solid understanding of cannabis and cannabis-based products
• Must have proficiency using MS Office Suite, knowledge of additional platforms such as COVA and Dutchie are an asset
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent organizational skills
• Must be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• Must be able to submit a cleared criminal background check
• Reliable transportation to and from work
