We are a growing, fast-paced manufacturing facility looking for reliable, hard-working CNC Operators. In this role, you will set up, run and adjust computer-controlled machines to build precise parts. Your daily tasks will also include quality checks and basic machine maintenance. You will receive on-the-job training, with opportunities to learn how to program and operate various CNC production machinery and build a long-term career in the metalworking trade.  Benefits available after 90 days of continuous employment

Core Responsibilities:

• Read Blueprints: Understand technical drawings, work orders, and check sheets before starting a job.
• Run Mills & Lathes: Load material, initiate programs, and monitor multi-axis machining cycles.
• Operate Forming Equipment: Run presses, brakes, or bending machinery to form raw materials accurately.
• Perform Part Setups: Secure proper fixtures and dies; adjust cutting tools and set initial machine parameters.
• Quality Checks: First off, in process and final inspections required on all products to make sure parts match exact standards.
• Maintain Work Areas: Keep machine area clean and organized, check fluid levels, and log completed production runs.

• Experience: 1 to 3 years operating CNC mills, lathes, or industrial forming equipment.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong blueprint reading skills and proficiency with precision inspection tools.
• Machine Adaptability: Ability to switch tasks between machining and metal forming operations.
• Mechanical Aptitude: Good basic math skills and problem-solving habits for troubleshooting minor errors.
• Physical Demands: Capacity to stand for an 8-hour shift and regularly lift up to 45 lbs (20 kg)
• Language Proficiency: Functional English (verbal and written) to interpret work orders and understand safety instructions.

Ideal Candidate Would Potentially Possess;

• A valid provincial driver’s licence (e.g., Ontario Class G).
• High school diploma; trade school certification or machining diploma
• Current certification for Forklift or Overhead Crane operation.
