Job Overview
Direct Support Professional (DSP) employees work with people who experience developmental disabilities as they live in their homes and communities. This position assists people in their daily life, working with them and their connections to ensure that they can live fully in the community. Direct Support Professionals recognize people’s rights to direct their life, understanding that each person has unique gifts and needs, and they support people to learn skills for their own growth and development.

Qualifications
Qualifications
- 12 Months Experience
- Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check
- Access to reliable transportation
- Experience with working with Behaviour Support Plans and CPI techniques.
- Experience supporting people living within a Supported Independent Living model
Education Requirements
- Developmental Services Worker, Child and Youth Worker, or post-secondary education in a related field
