General Farm Worker

Description

Handling animals Monitoring animal health Track and report on current feed inventory Feed and tend animals Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry Examine product for quality and its readiness for the market Set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns, pens and chicken coops.

Salary 18.50 hourly / 40 hours per week Early morning, Morning, Day, Weekend
Starts as soon as possible
Working hours: from 07:30 to 16:30
On site Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Work Site Environment
Chicken farming, Other poultry farming, Outdoors,  Dusty,  Noisy,  Odors, Poultry and egg production
Work setting Rural area Various locations

Qualifications

Languages: English
Experience: Will train

Ability to work independently, Fast-paced environment, Physically demanding, Repetitive tasks, Attention to detail, Handling heavy loads, Combination of sitting, standing, walking Hand-eye co-ordination Bending, crouching, kneeling.
