Full job description

Check-in/check-out hotel guests in a timely and professional manner; process all payments according to established procedures to ensure guest satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the hotel
  • Check guests in and out, ensuring all necessary information is obtained and recorded accurately
  • Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
  • Handle guest complaints or concerns, escalating to management when necessary
  • Process payments and maintain accurate records of guest transactions
  • Respond appropriately to guest requests; promotes hotel services, facilities, and outlets; provide guests with information such as local attractions and directions to increase satisfaction
  • Communicate any outstanding guest requests or issues to management that may require additional monitoring or follow-up
  • Assist with reservations and room assignments
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
  • Other duties as required
  • Proficient in using computer systems, including reservation software and Microsoft Office Suite
