Junior Mechanical Engineer

Description

  • Collaborate with senior engineers to design and develop mechanical systems using CAD software such as Autodesk Inventor.
  • Create detailed schematics and technical drawings to support project specifications.
  • Assist in the fabrication of prototypes and components, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Utilize CNC machinery for precision manufacturing tasks.
  • Conduct testing and analysis of mechanical systems to evaluate performance and reliability.
  • Document project progress, findings, and recommendations for improvements.
  • Support the integration of logic controllers into mechanical designs.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss project updates and contribute ideas for optimization.
  • Wage: between $19.52 – $40.02/hour based on experience.
  • Hours: Part-time to Full-time.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (Solid works, Inventor) for drafting and design purposes.
  • Understanding of CNC machining processes and fabrication techniques.
  • Experience with logic controllers is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate with team members.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required and experience necessary.
