The Marketing & Social Media Coordinator serves as the primary liaison between Rah! Marketing Communications and its clients. This role combines client service and project management with hands-on digital execution.

You are responsible for executing marketing plans, maintaining a unified brand voice across all channels, and coordinating with other team members to move projects through to completion.

Key Responsibilities in priority order:

 Social Media & Content Curation

  • Develop and curate engaging content across all social media platforms
  • Plan, create, and edit written, video, and photo content
  • Attend events to produce live social media content
  • Monitor social media channels for industry trends and perform social listening.
  • Interact with users by responding to messages, inquiries, and comments, including after-hours management of negative feedback
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop social media calendars
  1. Copywriting & Creative Coordination
  • Write content for social media and advertising copy (print, broadcast, digital) for the manager and client approval
  • Check and approve creative materials, including layouts and production art
  • Gather and assemble background information and analyses to assist the Manager in development of briefs
  • Ensure the synthesis of marketing efforts by meeting regularly with teammates
  1. Client Relations & Project Management
  • Maintain daily contact with one or more clients, serving as their primary point of service
  • Coordinate project timing and budgets with teammates and suppliers
  • Prepare client invoices and proposals
  • Complete Client Contact Reports for all meetings and distribute them to colleagues
  1. Digital & Web Management
  • Oversee and optimize Google Business Profiles and Google Reviews to maintain client reputation
  • Design, build, and monitor Google Ads campaigns to drive targeted traffic
  • Update and improve client websites using WordPress or other CMS platforms, including blogs, surveys, forms, and landing page
  • Execute SEO optimization strategies to improve organic search rankings
  • Manage e-commerce, including product uploads, SEO-focused descriptions, and performance reporting
  • Develop, write, and distribute engaging e-newsletters on behalf of clients
  • Maintain and grow client Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to enhance lead tracking and retention

Qualifications

  • College or university graduate in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience in social media, content development, or client service.
  • Respectable copywriting and editing skills for social media, print, and digital advertising.
  • Top-notch verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with major social media platforms, management tools WordPress, Google Ads, Campaign and MailChimp, and Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with digital media formats, and video/photo editing tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premiere Pro).
  • Impeccable time management skills with the ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
