Millwright, Fabrication Department Lead
Description
- Fabricate, install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and equipment according to specifications.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to understand system layouts.
- Fabricate parts as needed using welding techniques and other fabrication methods.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery to ensure proper functionality.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues using logical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency and customer service.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Wage: between $25.00 – $45.54/hour based on experience.
- Hours: Full-time.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work on various types of machinery.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, including low voltage applications.
- Customer service skills are beneficial for interacting with clients and team members effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience building and adjusting customer tube and wire benders is a major asset.
- Certification is required and experience is necessary.
