Millwright, Fabrication Department Lead

Description

  • Fabricate, install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and equipment according to specifications.
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to understand system layouts.
  • Fabricate parts as needed using welding techniques and other fabrication methods.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery to ensure proper functionality.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues using logical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency and customer service.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Wage: between $25.00 – $45.54/hour based on experience.
  • Hours: Full-time.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in industrial maintenance or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work on various types of machinery.
  • Familiarity with electrical systems, including low voltage applications.
  • Customer service skills are beneficial for interacting with clients and team members effectively.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience building and adjusting customer tube and wire benders is a major asset.
  • Certification is required and experience is necessary.
