Our Produce team is fundamental to Metro’s overall success with a focus on always fresh, in stock, and up to standards.  The Produce Clerk is responsible for the preparation of product products for retail display and sale to customers in a safe and sanitary manner.  They are also involved in servicing Metro’s customers in a courteous, friendly and efficient manner.

If you are interested in assisting customers and are passionate about the food industry, the produce department located at 417 Wellington St., St. Thomas is waiting for you.

General Qualifications:

• Customer service driven
• Able to stock merchandise and create displays
• Good produce knowledge and attention to detail
• Retail experience considered an asset
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be available to work flexible shifts which may include nights and weekends
