About the Position:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Finance Manager to lead our financial strategy and operations. This role requires a deep understanding of regulatory tax compliance, treasury management, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will be able to efficiently deal with operational challenges based on strategic priorities, while driving financial excellence in a manufacturing environment.

Role – Finance Manager/Analyst

Locations – Vianode Canada inc.  Temporarily Remote status

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish onsite financial capabilities to implement financial strategies to realize operational goals and support the company’s growth.
  • Lead financial reporting and compliance efforts, ensuring accuracy and transparency, including establishing and maintaining appropriate procedures, processes and systems.
  • Manage treasury functions, including cash flow management, investment strategies, and risk mitigation.
  • Drive operational excellence through prioritizing initiatives and continuous cost optimizations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support multi-million dollar projects and manufacturing operations.
  • Oversee regulatory tax compliance and ensure adherence to local and international regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
  • Influence corporate decision-making by providing financial insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Location:  Until a permanent office is established, this position will be a hybrid of remote work and working at partner locations, with relatively frequent travel to and from the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and Southwestern Ontario.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Extensive experience in a senior finance role within the manufacturing industry, preferably with ERP implementation skills.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory tax compliance, treasury management, and financial reporting.
  • Proven ability to influence corporate strategies and drive financial performance.
  • Experience with large-scale projects and/or operational excellence initiatives (preferred).
  • Experience with local regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
