Frankie’s Roadhouse (formerly Take a Bite) is excited to be opening in picturesque New Glasgow, ON providing food services both indoors and on the relaxing outdoor patio.  We are looking for kitchen staff, servers, and delivery drivers to join our dynamic team.

Servers:

• Full-time and Part-time shifts available
• Prior serving experience preferred
• Able to multi-task
• Greet and seat customers in a friendly and timely manner
• Accurately take food orders and deliver food to customers’ tables
• Familiarize yourself with the menu and accommodate any special requests
• Clear tables, sanitize tables and chairs and public areas
• Maintain safe working conditions ensuring there is no food or debris littering the floors
• Restock as necessary during slower times
• Interact professionally with customers and team members
• Familiar with POS, process payments
• Adhere to cleaning schedules, SOPs, and adhering to Health Canada guidelines
• Available weekends and evenings for shift rotations
• In rural New Glasgow, not on a bus route, dependable transportation required
• Safe Food Handlers Certification required
• A liquor license application has been submitted, willing to obtain Smart Serve certification
• Wage: To be discussed, based on experience

 Kitchen Staff:

• Full-time and Part-time shifts available

• Able to multi-task
• Food preparation, washing, chopping, peeling, cutting products
• Receiving deliveries and orders
• Attention to detail
• Familiar with the use of various kitchen appliances
• Adhere to cleaning schedules, SOPs, and adhering to Health Canada guidelines
• Wash dishes and put them away
• Restock and maintain food rotation
• Ensure the highest standard of food quality and plating specifications
• Setting up workstations with ingredients
• Available weekends and evenings for shift rotations
• In rural New Glasgow, not on a bus route, dependable transportation required
• Safe Food Handlers Certification required
• Wage: to be discussed, based on experience

Delivery Driver:

• Operate vehicle safely, maintaining its cleanliness and adhering to traffic laws
• G2 Driver’s License with clean driving record
• Efficiently and safely deliver food orders to customers
• Able to navigate GPS/map
• Navigate routes for deliveries ensuring timely delivery while maintaining customer satisfaction
• Handle customer inquiries, address concerns, ensure positive experience
• Confirm accuracy of order before leaving restaurant
• Handling cash or card for payments
• Wage: to be discussed, based on experience

• Highly motivated
• Work well on a team or independently
• Organized with excellent time management skills
• Positive attitude and good communication skills
• Follows directions
• Available evenings and weekends
• Safe Food Handling certification required
• Smart Serve an asset or able to obtain when establishment is licensed
• Able to stand on feet for extended periods of time
• Quick on your feet and able to handle stressful situations if they should arise
• Present yourself in a professional and clean appearance
• Familiar with POS to process payments
• Self-directed during slow times
• Physically able to do the job
• Ensure the customer has a relaxing experience; a satisfied customer is a returning customer
• Able to multi-task
