The Sign Installer is primarily responsible for the installation of various custom signage indoors and outdoors. This is a hands-on role that requires a team member who is reliable, has an attention to detail and can trouble shoot.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production: Operate and maintain a variety of sign-making equipment, including large-format printers, laminators, and vinyl cutters.
• Fabrication: Measure, cut, and assemble signs using various materials such as vinyl, acrylic, wood, and metal.
• Finishing: Prepare and finish projects, which may include weeding vinyl, or applying graphics and overlays to substrates.
• Installation: Assist with or lead the installation of signage on site, or at client sites. These may include but are not limited to wall signs, pylon signs, vehicle graphics, mobile billboards, post signs, and window graphics.
• Quality Control: Ensure all finished products meet our quality standards and project specifications.
• Inventory: Help manage the inventory of materials, inks, and other supplies.
• Safety: Maintain a clean and organized workspace and adhere to all safety protocols.

• Experience: Previous experience in a sign or digital print shop or related field is an asset. Knowing how to use power and hand tools is a must.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with graphic design software such as Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW is an asset.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality, accurate work.
• Physical Ability: Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and comfortable working at heights on ladders or lifts during installations.
• Licensing: A valid G-class driver’s license with a clean record is required for on-site installations. You will need to be able to drive a heavy-duty pickup with a trailer.
• Communication: Strong ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.
