Reporting to the Manager, Co-operative Community Engagement, the Education Site Coordinator assists with the planning and delivery of our site promotion and education programming – as well as the further development of our property as we prepare to re-open this Summer/Fall.

Working with the team to run the CEC/museum, which could include:

  • general reception duties such as answering phones, maintaining records or booking tours
  • light site prep/cleaning duties with rest of team
  • greeting guests and answer questions concerning exhibits and facilities
  • helping to set up/change exhibits and collections
  • Assist in developing and implementing curriculum for education programming, as well as a social media promotion plan
  • Assist in creation of promotional videos and virtual tours
  • Assisting in preparation and facilitation of Covid-safe special events and group tours
  • Work with the team to design and produce signage, games, outdoor challenges and activities throughout the site
  • Being on-site during special events and tours, as assisting with any virtual events
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand on feet for extended time.
  • Balancing, bending, climbing, kneeling, walking, pushing, reaching above shoulders, and sitting.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all temperatures/weather

  • A background in education, video production, graphic design, museum studies, tourism or marketing are the preferred education and experience we are seeking
